Mai and Me

Coughing, my life flashing before my eyes. "Mai!" I cried out despretly.

Well before that this is what happened. Hi my name is Cass short for Cassandra. My friend Mai and I are 12 years old and like sisters. One day our parents dicied to take us out on a boat ride. Did i mention I'm very good at predicting Natural disaters and just disasters well I told my parents that I was 99.9% sure a huge storm would happen but of course this is their response, "Nonsense! The weather is perfect." But thats what everyone says before they're shipwercked. But at least I was seeing Mai. Mai and I go way back to even before we we're born. Our parents were friends we were born, Mai and I were born at the same time at the same hospital in rooms right next to each other. Our only diffrences were our apperences. I was a long blonde hair with blue eyes. I loved bows and trying on dresses. Mai was a brunette with green eyes. Her style was negative but she loved kimonos. She would always listen to my predictions and she understood me. I knew something bad was happening so I called Mai up out convo went something like this:
Me: Mai I think we're going to get shipwrecked on the boat.
Mai: Ok so what do we do?
Me: Bring a water proof suit case with some clothes that can float with survival guides.
Mai: Ok see you soon.
Me: Yeah see you soon.
So I packed a couple of short shorts. Some long jeans. Long sleeve and T-shirts. Also I brought some books, Swiss Family Robinson and A Dummies guide to surviving in the wilderness. Well back to the story,

Sitting next to Mai clutching my suit case and wear a bright orange life preserver I was shaking. Mai had her suit case right next to her and her life preserver in her lap. Our boat was in the middle of nowhere and our parents looked like they were drinking. "Agggh." Mai sighed. And thats when the storm happened. The gray clouds rolled in. "Get your suit case!" I yelled at Mai over the wind. I helped her get her life preserver on. "Jump!" I yelled again. Mai and I were both ok swimmers but the waves were not going easy on us. Coughing, my life flashed before my eyes. "Mai!" I cried out despretly. I heard some coughing near me and I started to swim towards it. But after some swimming the waves stopped moving. I still had my suit case and Mai had hers. I was close to her then I started stepping on sand. Soon Mai and I were standing On the edge on of an island. "W-were are we?" I asked. Mai shrugged "You're the expert on surviving." I smiled. She was right. "Well lets find somewhere to stay for the night Then we'll get some food." Mai nodded. We walked a little ways into the forest when we came upon a tree house. "Wow thats amazing." I breathed. Mai shurgged. We climbed up the rope ladder until we got up. Inside it have everything. A couple hammocks, a fridge for food, stove to cook, and a computer. I think it was the first time I saw Mai's jaw drop. It was like paradise.
